Location

Queen Anne High School is situated to the north side of Dunfermline in Fife. It lies to the west side of the A823, also known as Pilmuir Street, and is the last building on the left as you leave town towards Wellwood.

By Train

Dunfermline lies on the 'Fife Loop' rail line. There are two stations in Dunfermline - the main central station is the one closest to the school but it is still a little over a mile away.

By Bus

Regular express bus services exist from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Fife towns. The main services and the towns served are as follows:

  • X24: Glasgow - Cumbernauld - Dunfermline - Glenrothes - St Andrews
  • X26: Glasgow - Cumbernauld - Dunfermline - Kirkcaldy - Leven - St Andrews
  • X40: Edinburgh - Dunfermline
  • X54: Edinburgh - Dunfermline - Glenrothes - Dundee
  • X57: Edinburgh - Dunfermline - Balingry

By Foot

There are no suitable bus routes to the school from either the bus station or the rail station. A brisk walk from the bus station will take about 20 minutes. A walk from the rail station will take about 35 minutes. See the map.

Delivery Restrictions

Deliveries by commercial vehicles are not allowed during times when large numbers of pupils are moving in close proximity to the school. Drivers are asked to avoid the following times:

  • 8:30am to 9:00am
  • 10:45am to 11:15am
  • 12:30pm to 1:45pm
  • 3:30pm to 4:00pm
