Staff
At present there are two full-time members of staff in the Drama department covering the complete timetable, which offers Standard Grade in S3 and S4, Higher Grade Drama and Intermediate 2 Drama in S5/6 and Advanced Higher in S6.

Quality Assurance
There will be a departmental audit carried out twice a year to determine our quality assurance within the department.
All SQA results will be analysed to determine that we are meeting targets and the pupil needs.
We will make use of HGIOS to ensure that our development plan addresses National and Local targets.
Classroom observation will always be an integral part of our teaching policy within the department.
Continuous moderation of assessment procedures.
Extra-Curricular Activities
We will attempt to produce a School Show every two years along with the Music department, resources permitting.
The department will take pupils on theatre trips that pertain to course work.
We will also try to be versatile in that we will help young enterprise groups who need to access our equipment for extra curricular performances, e.g. Rock concert, School X-Factor, charity lunchtime concerts and staff karaoke.
