Primary Liaison
An itinerant teacher of Physical Education visits all our feeder Primary Schools on one occasion every 5 weeks. A comprehensive programme of dance, gymnastics and games is taught according to the Primary syllabus. The class teacher is left with progressive lessons until the return of the specialist. A full swimming programme is also tackled at the Primary 6 stage. The Syllabus is familiar to Secondary teachers and the S1/S2 programme of dance, gymnastics, games and swimming endeavours to carry on developing the basic skills learned in the early years.
Associate Primaries are invited to the School on an Annual basis to play in the Soccer Festival and similarly the associate Primaries have the opportunity to attend an Annual Hockey Festival. A School's Sports Co-ordinator is responsible for organising these Festivals.
