Advanced Higher Latin
This is a one-year course consisting of three elements:
- 1) Interpretation:
- 100 marks
- 2) Translation:
- 100 marks (50 Prose, 50 Verse)
- 3) Investigation:
- 100 marks (4,000 words)
Assessment procedure parallels that for Higher.
Detailed information is set out in the Board's "Revised Arrangements in Latin".
The prescribed text for Paper I (Interpretation) will be recommended by the Board.
Each candidate will be required to be issued with a Latin-English Dictionary.
