Quality Assurance
The department ensures that a high level of learning and teaching is developed and maintained using the following:
- The monitoring matrix - this is used in line with school policy.
- Common courses taught in S1-2 complete with marking schemes for tests and homework.
- Monitoring of class results.
- Analysis of SQA results against interval marks, GPAs etc.
- Sampling of pupil work.
- Regular discussions on pupils' progress through courses.
