The School Day
The school day is designed to;
- Maximise opportunities for effective learning and teaching
- Give class teachers more regular contact with their classes
- Create equal teaching time slots
- Reduce the time pupils spend travelling between classes
- Promote positive self-discipline and motivation
The school begins each day at 8.55pm when pupils attend registration.

If a pupil is late in the morning or following the lunchtime they are expected to sign in at the main office/reception. A late pupil is issued with a late-slip. Good timekeeping and good attendance are important in ensuring that each young person achieves their full potential.
